Engagement Sessions

I think engagement photo sessions are extremely important for two reasons. First, engagement sessions are a great source of images if you decide to create a custom guest book or want to display a print at your reception. But they also give us a chance to work with each other before your big day. Engagement sessions are relaxed and fun, and we get to play around a bit. By the time your wedding day rolls around, you’ll feel so much more comfortable with the idea of being photographed. Your wedding photos will be one less thing for you to worry about at your wedding. And less worry is a good thing, right?

This image won the 2012 International Top Knots Photo Competition! I shot it on Polaroid film and then I scanned the ‘throw-away’ paper negative, for a vintage look.
